Instant Roof Quote for Treasure Valley Homeowners
A Real Roof Price in About a Minute
Almost every homeowner starts a roof project with the same question: what’s this going to cost?
We think you should have a solid ballpark answer first. Enter your address and our tool measures your roof by satellite, then prices a full replacement. You get a real number to plan around in about a minute.
Why Roof Prices
|Are So Hard to Pin Down|
Ask three roofers to price the same roof and the numbers can land thousands of dollars apart.
Different shingles, different underlayment, different crews. Most of the gap comes down to one thing: nobody shows you what the number is built on.
We start with the measurement. The tool pulls the squares, pitch, and layout off your actual roof and prices it the way we would on site. You get a real starting point, and the inspection fills in the few things a satellite
can’t see.
How |It Works|
That's all the tool needs to find your roof.
Square footage, pitch, and layout come off your actual roof, not a neighborhood average. Squares drive the price more than anything else, so this is where an accurate number starts.
Compare shingle lines, check the monthly payment, and pick a time for Mike to confirm it on the roof. The inspection is free.
What a Complete |Quote Should List|
If a quote leaves any of these out, ask about them before you sign. Our written scope covers every one.
- Roof size in squares (one square is 100 square feet) and the pitch.
- Tear-off: how many layers come off and where the debris goes.
- Shingle brand, line, and tier. Ours is Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration, or Duration FLEX for a Class 4 impact rating.
- Underlayment type. We use synthetic.
- Ice and water shield at valleys and around penetrations.
- Drip edge at the eaves and rakes.
- Flashing at chimneys, walls, and valleys: metal, not a bead of sealant.
- New pipe boots.
- A ventilation plan, with ridge vent sized to your soffit intake.
- How rotted decking gets priced if the crew finds it.
- Cleanup, including a magnet sweep for nails.
- Workmanship warranty and manufacturer warranty, both in writing.
What Moves
|the Price on an Idaho Roof|
Squares drive cost more than anything else. That's why the tool measures your roof instead of estimating from your home's square footage.
Steeper roofs need more safety setup and go slower.
Every valley, dormer, skylight, and chimney adds flashing and labor.
Two layers of old shingles mean more tear-off time and more dump fees.
Duration is our standard. Duration FLEX carries a Class 4 impact rating for hail and costs more. The tool prices both on your roof so you can compare.
If the attic can't breathe, fixing it is part of the job. A ridge-vent upgrade is free with a qualifying replacement.
Soft or rotted wood under the shingles gets replaced once the old roof is off.
Out here, sun and big temperature swings age a roof faster than rain does, hail is the wild card. That's why ventilation and impact rating come up on our quotes more often than ice protection.
Red Flags
|in a Low Roof Quote|
A low number can be honest. It can also leave out things you’ll pay for later. Watch for these:
- One total with no line items, or a price given over the phone.
- No mention of ventilation.
- "Sealant" listed where metal flashing belongs.
- Old pipe boots left in place. In our sun they crack early.
- No drip edge on the scope.
- Decking listed as "TBD" with no price per sheet.
- Pressure to sign today.
- No workmanship warranty in writing, or no Idaho contractor registration number on the paperwork.
A good roofer answers every one of these without blinking. Ask before you sign.
Repair |or Replace?|
The tool prices full replacements, since that’s what a satellite measurement supports. Plenty of roofs don’t need one yet.
The damage is in one spot, the shingles still bend instead of crack, or the trouble is a pipe boot or a piece of flashing.
shingles are curling or shedding granules into the gutters, leaks keep turning up in new places, or hail has bruised the mat across several slopes.
Is your roof 5 to 10 years old and still sound? Our $399 Roof Tune-Up reseals the fasteners before they start letting water in. Can’t tell which one you need? Book the free inspection. If a repair handles it, that’s what we’ll quote.
Pay Over Time
|With 0% for 24 Months|
Qualifying replacements can be financed through Wisetack, including 0% APR for up to 24 months for qualified borrowers. Checking your options is a soft pull, so your credit score stays put. Final rates and terms depend on approval.
The tool shows your price as a monthly payment, and qualifying full replacements take up to $1,000 off.
What Happens
|After You Get Your Price|
What Happens After You Get Your Price
We'll call or text to answer questions and set up your free inspection at a time that works for you.
He walks it, checks attic ventilation, and photographs anything that affects your exact price.
The full scope in writing, every line from the checklist above, before you commit to anything.
We protect your yard, tear off, install, and finish with a magnet sweep for stray nails.
We check the work against our standards and hand you both warranties.
Is it really free?
Yes, and there’s no obligation. You don’t need to book anything to see your price.
How accurate is the price?
It’s built on a real measurement of your roof, not a regional average, so it’s a lot closer than a ballpark. We confirm the final scope at the inspection, because decking and ventilation can’t be seen from above.
Will someone call me?
Not unless you ask. No follow-up sequence, no drip emails.
What if my roof is complicated?
Cut-up roofs with lots of valleys, dormers, or skylights still get measured. The more complex the roof, the more useful the inspection is for confirming scope.
Can I use this for a repair?
No. This prices a full replacement, since that’s what a satellite measurement supports. For a repair, request a free repair estimate instead.
What warranty comes with my new roof?
Two, both in writing. Our Peak Performance Warrantycovers workmanship for 10 years, includes a 2-year no-questions repair promise, and transfers once if you sell. Your shingles carry the Owens Corning Limited Lifetime Warranty, with 10 years of full materials and labor coverage.
