Small Jobs,
|Short Drive|

Peak Roofing is based in Nampa. Not serving Nampa from somewhere else. Our address is here.

It began in 2017 and the reputation was built job by job. Mike came to a business that had already earned its place here. Over ten years of doing the job himself came with him.

We work gutters as roofing rather than farming them out. The roof edge, the drip edge, the fascia and the gutter all meet at the same three inches, and when a roofer and a gutter company blame each other, you’re the one standing in the wet.

Why Gutters
|Matter in Nampa|

What happens when a gutter stops working depends on which Nampa you live in, and the city is split almost evenly.

On the older streets

Water going over or behind a run has usually been doing it for years. The fascia takes it first, then the soffit, and by the time anyone notices the board is soft.

In the newer subdivisions

The damage shows up outside instead. Overflow tracks down siding, saturates planting beds and pools where the grading was never meant to hold it.

Same weather, two different bills

Which is why the first thing worth establishing here is the age of the house rather than the state of the gutter.

Gutter Services for |Nampa Homes|

Small jobs are normal work for us here, because we are based in Nampa rather than driving in.

Gutter cleaning

We clear gutters and downspouts and check hangers and seams while we're up there, which most cleaning services skip.

Downspouts and discharge

Too few downspouts and the run backs up. Discharge too close to the house and you've moved the problem to the foundation.

Gutter guards

Guards reduce how often gutters need clearing. They don't eliminate it, and we'd rather set that expectation properly up front. Ask us and we'll give you a straight answer, including when the answer is that you don't need them.

Gutter repair

Leaking corners and outlets, pulled hangers, blocked downspouts, and water running behind the gutter instead of into it. Small jobs are fine with us.

Installation and replacement

When a system is past patching, meaning sagging between hangers, split seams along the run, or gutters pulling off the fascia. Design note: no guard product named, no performance percentage, pending confirmation.

Doing Gutters With Your Roof

Nampa needs a permit for the roof either way, so doing gutters at the same time saves a setup.

Planning a replacement? Fold the gutters into it.

Worth doing together rather than in sequence. The drip edge, roof edge and gutter form a single detail, and building it in one pass is cheaper than paying twice to work the same three inches.

Warranties and the |Peak Promise|

Your work is warranty-backed, and we’ll explain what applies to your specific job before we start.
We aim to get your roof right the first time. Once in a while a job hits a bump. What matters is that your roofer stands behind the work. If something needs attention after we’re done, you call us and we take care of it. That’s the promise we stand behind on every job.

Peak Roofing is licensed, bonded, and insured under Idaho registration #4071991.

Gutters Built
|for Nampa Homes|

The unique local block. Every fact is verified. Sources at the end.

Most gutter work is small work, and that’s exactly where being down the road matters.

A roof replacement is worth driving across the valley for. Resealing two corners isn’t. Being close by is what makes a small job easy to schedule rather than something to fit around a long drive.

We’re here. A corner leak, a downspout that’s come apart, a run that’s sagging in one spot, those are normal jobs for us rather than an inconvenience to be talked up into something bigger.

There are two Nampas, and they need different answers.

The median home in this city was built around 2000. That’s an unusual number, because it means the city splits almost evenly. Nampa started as a railroad town in the 1880s and has a genuinely old core, and then it added a great deal of housing through the 2000s as the population went past 100,000 and on toward 120,000.

On the older streets near the centre, the gutters have been replaced two or three times already, and every one of those replacements put fasteners through the same fascia board. Add years of water running behind an overflowing gutter, and the board can be soft long before anybody notices. On those houses we look at the fascia before we quote anything, because hanging good gutters on failing wood just resets the clock.

In the newer subdivisions, Carriage Hill, Hartland, Fairhaven, Jasper Ridge and the rest, most homes are still on their original system. There the aluminium is usually fine and the sealant at the corners and outlets is what’s given up, because sealant hardens under our sun long before metal does. That’s a repair.

So the first question on a Nampa gutter job isn’t what’s wrong. It’s which kind of house you’re standing at.

One thing not to read too much into. Canyon County’s ground snow load is lighter than Ada County’s, roughly 15 pounds per square foot against 20. That’s a real difference in what your roof structure was designed to carry, and it tells you nothing at all about your gutters. What wrecks a gutter here is water freezing and thawing in it night after night, and that happens the same way on both sides of the county line.

Talk with Peak Roofing

Canyon County has a lighter snow load. Does that mean gutters matter less here?
No. Snow load describes what your roof structure carries. Gutters get damaged by water freezing and thawing in them, which happens across the whole valley regardless of the county line.
Yes, and it’s the sensible order. The drip edge, roof edge and gutter meet at the same spot, so setting them together avoids the seam where two trades disagree.
Yes. We’re based in Nampa, so a corner reseal or a loose hanger is a normal job rather than a trip we have to justify.
We’d look at the fascia first. On a home that’s been through two or three gutter systems, the board behind them takes the wear, and new gutters on soft fascia won’t hold.
Probably not. On a newer home the sealant at corners and outlets usually fails well before the aluminium does. That’s a repair. Dev note: FAQPage schema.
