Two Approvals Before |Anyone Starts|

Peak Roofing is an owner-operated roofing contractor working in Hidden Springs and Ada County. The company was founded in 2017 and built its name on word of mouth. It was already a trusted name here when Mike took it over. He brought more than 10 years of hands-on experience with him.

Hidden Springs works differently from the rest of the valley, and a roofer who doesn’t know that will waste your time. It isn’t a city, the permit doesn’t go where people assume, and there’s often a second approval to think about before anyone orders material.

We do residential work and we install asphalt. We’ll look at your roof, tell you what we find, and explain the options in plain terms. Read our story

Your address is all the tool asks for.

It measures the roof from satellite imagery and gives you a real price. One thing to know before ordering. If your community reviews exterior work, colour and product may need clearing first. We handle that alongside the county permit.

Scope gets confirmed on the roof, since decking and ventilation cannot be seen from above.

Financing is available on qualifying replacements.

Warranties and |the Peak Promise|

The work is warranty-backed and the shingles carry the manufacturer’s own warranty. You will know what applies to your system before anyone starts. Ada County values apply, and at 2,877 feet you sit higher than any city we serve.
We aim to get your roof right the first time. Once in a while a job hits a bump. What matters is that your roofer stands behind the work. If something needs attention after we’re done, you call us and we take care of it. That’s the promise we stand behind on every job.

Peak Roofing is licensed, bonded, and insured under Idaho registration #4071991.

The unique local block. Every fact is verified. Sources at the end.

Hidden Springs isn’t a city, and that’s the first thing a roofer needs to know here.

It’s an unincorporated community in Ada County, one of five planned communities the county recognizes. Your building permit goes through Ada County Development Services, not through Boise, even though a Boise mailing address makes people assume otherwise. It is worth confirming at the start, because getting it wrong costs a week.

There’s often a second approval, and it comes before the first. Planned communities usually have architectural guidelines for exterior work. Roof colour and material are normally on that list. We’d check yours before ordering anything, because a pallet of the wrong color shingle is an expensive mistake and a slow one to fix. Worth confirming what your association requires early, and we’ll work to whatever it says.

You’re higher up than the rest of the valley. Hidden Springs sits at about 2,877 feet, several hundred feet above the valley floor and higher than any city we serve. Snow sits longer up here than it does down in Nampa or Caldwell, and the freeze and thaw cycle that works at flashing and pipe boots gets more chances at it. Ada County design values still apply. That’s a 20 psf ground snow load and a 25 psf minimum on the roof. The design wind speed is 90 mph, which is the same standard as the 115 mph ultimate figure in the code.

Most of these roofs went on together. Hidden Springs was developed from the late 1990s onward, so the bulk of its housing arrived in a fairly narrow window. That puts a lot of original roofs in the range where a first replacement stops being hypothetical. A free inspection will tell you where yours actually sits, which is better than guessing from a build date.

Hidden Springs |Roofing Questions|

Talk with Peak Roofing

Who issues my roofing permit out here?
Ada County Development Services. Hidden Springs is unincorporated, so it isn’t the City of Boise even though your mail says Boise. We pull the permit either way.
Quite likely, since planned communities usually have architectural guidelines that cover roof color and material. Check with your association, and we’ll match whatever it requires before we order anything.
A little. Snow sits longer at this elevation, and the freeze and thaw cycle gets more chances at flashing and pipe boots. It doesn’t change the design values, which are Ada County’s, but it’s a reason to have the details looked at.
Possibly, and that’s worth finding out rather than assuming either way. A free inspection takes under an hour and tells you what the roof actually looks like instead of what its age suggests.
Yes. Enter your address and we measure your roof by satellite, then show you real pricing for that roof. We confirm the final scope at the inspection, because decking and ventilation aren’t visible from above.
