|Is in This City|

Owner-operated, based in the valley, working Nampa and the rest of Canyon County. Peak Roofing dates to 2017 and grew on word of mouth. Mike took it on with more than 10 years of hands-on roofing behind him.

That matters more than it sounds. A roofer who works in your city every day knows which permit office to call, what the code requires here rather than one county over, and what the housing on your street is actually built like.

The company was founded in 2017 and built its name on word of mouth. It was already a trusted name here when Mike took it over. He brought more than 10 years of hands-on experience with him.

Asphalt roofs on residential homes. We look, we photograph, we explain. If your roof needs a repair rather than replacing, that’s what you’ll hear. Read our story

You can find out what a roof here costs without booking anything or waiting for a visit.

No appointment needed to find out what a roof costs.

Enter the address and we measure from satellite imagery. The square footage, the pitch and the shape all come off your roof, which matters in a city where half the housing predates 2000 and half does not.

We confirm the final scope on the roof, because nobody can assess decking or ventilation from the air.

Zero-percent financing runs up to 24 months on qualifying replacements.

We come and look

Free, with photographs of flashing, ventilation, and the spots where water gets in.

You approve a written scope

Nothing begins until the price and the scope are on paper and the colour is chosen. Nampa requires a permit for both an overlay and a full tear-off, and its guidance says so plainly. We pull it.

Tear-off day

The old roof comes off and the decking gets inspected while it is exposed.

We leave it clean

Magnet sweep, full clear-up, and a walkthrough before we go.

Warranties and |the Peak Promise|

We back the work, and the shingles carry their manufacturer’s warranty. Both get explained before we start rather than after. Canyon County design values apply here, with a lighter ground snow load than across the county line.
We aim to get your roof right the first time. Once in a while a job hits a bump. What matters is that your roofer stands behind the work. If something needs attention after we’re done, you call us and we take care of it. That’s the promise we stand behind on every job.

Peak Roofing is licensed, bonded, and insured under Idaho registration #4071991.

Roofing Built for |Nampa Homes|

The unique local block. Every fact is verified. Sources at the end.

Nampa sits at about 2,474 feet, which makes it one of the lower spots in the valley. That has a practical consequence most people never think about.

Nampa is Canyon County, and the numbers are different here. Snow load design values follow elevation, and Canyon County’s are lower than Ada County’s. Nampa’s ground snow load sits around 15 psf, against 20 across the county line. These are the numbers a Nampa quote should be built on.

Wind is a different story, and it doesn’t respect county lines. Idaho’s residential code sets a 90 mph design wind speed here, the same figure as the 115 mph ultimate speed in the code tables. On May 28, 2026, the valley saw one of its strongest May wind events on record, with gusts into the seventies. Wind lifts shingles at the rakes and eaves first, and that damage usually isn’t visible from the ground.

Sun is what actually ages a Nampa roof. We get eleven to thirteen inches of precipitation a year and summer highs in the low 90s. Shingles here lose granules to UV and thermal cycling long before rain does anything to them. Winter adds its own wear, with well over a hundred freezing nights a year working at flashing, pipe boots, and any seam already loose. What we don’t get is ice damming, which is why ice barrier underlayment isn’t required across the valley.

Permits here are stricter than in some nearby towns. Nampa’s Building Safety Department requires a permit for re-roofing, and its own guidance is explicit that this covers both overlays and a complete tear-off and re-roof. Some Canyon County towns exempt a straight single-layer tear-off. Nampa does not. We pull the permit, so it isn’t something you handle.

The housing here is genuinely mixed, which is unusual for the valley. The median Nampa home was built around 2000, meaning half the city is older than that. Nampa is an old railroad town with a real historic core, and it added a lot of housing through the 2000s as the population climbed past 100,000 and on toward 120,000. So we work on 1940s bungalows near the center and 2005 subdivisions on the edge in the same week, and they need different conversations. Older homes bring older decking and steeper pitches. Newer ones are mostly still on the roof the builder put on.

Neighborhoods we work in regularly include Carriage Hill, Hartland, Fairhaven, and Jasper Ridge, along with the older streets around downtown.

Nampa |Roofing Questions|

Talk with Peak Roofing

Can I really price my roof online without a visit?
Yes. Enter your address and we measure your roof by satellite, then show you real pricing for that roof. We confirm the final scope at the inspection, because decking and ventilation aren’t visible from above. No one calls you unless you want us to.

Yes. Nampa’s Building Safety Department requires a permit for re-roofing, and that covers both an overlay and a full tear-off. We pull it as part of the job.

Yes. Nampa is our home city, not a service area we drive to.
Both. Plenty of Nampa roofs need a repair rather than a replacement, and we’d rather do the repair and earn the bigger job later. Repair estimates are free.
Most Nampa homes are a one-day tear-off and install. Larger, steeper, or more cut-up roofs run into a second day. Weather can move the schedule, and we’ll tell you what to expect before we start.
