The Quickest Inspections |We Deal With|

Payette sits on the far west edge of the area we serve, right against the Oregon line, and there are a couple of things about roofing here that don’t apply back toward the valley. Permits work differently depending on which side of the city limits you’re on, and there’s a question worth asking any contractor who knocks on your door out here.

We are a small, owner-operated roofing company working across Payette and the rest of Payette County. Peak Roofing started in 2017 and grew on referrals. Mike took it over with more than 10 years of hands-on roofing behind him.

We do residential work and we install asphalt. We’ll tell you what the roof is doing and what can sensibly be done about it. If a repair is enough, we’ll say so. Read our story

Get Your Roof Quote |Online, Instantly|

One address is enough to get a number.

We measure the roof from satellite imagery, so the figure is yours rather than a regional estimate. Fruitland inspects quickly once work is booked, which is why jobs here tend to run to schedule.

Scope is confirmed on the roof. Decking and ventilation cannot be judged from above.

Qualifying replacements can carry zero-percent terms up to 24 months.

Magnet sweep for nails, then we walk the roof with you.

Warranties and |the Peak Promise|

Your work is warranty-backed, and your shingles carry the manufacturer’s warranty. We will explain exactly what applies to your roofing system before the project starts. Payette County publishes a 30 psf ground snow load, heavier than the valley floor.
We aim to get your roof right the first time. Once in a while a job hits a bump. What matters is that your roofer stands behind the work. If something needs attention after we’re done, you call us and we take care of it. That’s the promise we stand behind on every job.

Peak Roofing is licensed, bonded, and insured under Idaho registration #4071991.

Roofing Built for |Fruitland Homes|

The unique local block. Every fact is verified. Sources at the end.

Fruitland runs its own building department, and it’s one of the quicker ones out here.

The city handles residential permits from a single office rather than sending you elsewhere. Inspections are requested by phone, and a call placed before 3pm gets scheduled for the next day. When you leave a message they want the address, permit number, contractor name, phone number, and which inspection you need, which tells you they’re running a tight book rather than a loose one.

That matters more than it sounds. Roofing is weather-dependent work, and a city that can inspect tomorrow instead of next month is a city where a job actually finishes when you planned it to.

If your address is outside city limits, it’s a different route. Unincorporated Payette County handles those, and that process is considerably more formal. We’ll confirm which one applies to you before we schedule anything.

One split worth knowing. In Fruitland, plumbing and electrical permits don’t come from the city at all, they come from the State of Idaho. That doesn’t affect a straightforward re-roof, but it catches people out on bigger projects, and it’s a sign of how permitting works across this part of the state.

The design numbers here are heavier than the valley’s. Payette County publishes a 30 pound per square foot ground snow load, a 115 mph wind load, and Seismic Zone C. Ada County’s snow figure is 20 and parts of Canyon County are 15. Out here, that is the figure a quote should be built on.

The setting. Fruitland sits at about 2,208 feet, near where the Payette River meets the Snake, right against the Oregon line on US 95. The population was 6,072 at the last census. It’s a small enough town that a roofer working here regularly knows the streets, and we do.

Fruitland |Roofing Questions|

Talk with Peak Roofing

Who issues my roofing permit in Payette?
The City of Payette if you’re inside city limits, Payette County if you’re outside them. We confirm which applies to your address and handle it either way.
Payette County takes applications in hard copy rather than by email and asks for at least two weeks to review them. That’s their process, and it just means starting earlier. We factor it into the schedule rather than letting it surprise you.
Ask for their Idaho registration number and look it up. It matters more here than most places, since Payette sits on the Oregon line and contractors work both sides. Ours is #4071991.
Yes. Enter your address and we measure your roof by satellite, then show you real pricing for that roof. We confirm the final scope at the inspection, because decking and ventilation aren’t visible from above.

Both. On an older Payette home a repair is often the right answer, and we’d rather do the repair and earn the bigger job later. Repair estimates are free.
